How do I return an item?

Merchandise can be returned within 30 days of purchase if we sent you the wrong item or if the item you received is defective (see below for Power Equipment returns). Refunds will be issued to the original credit card used for payment. Original shipping charges will be deducted from the refund unless the return is the result of an error by HomeBase®. Please note bundled items need to be returned with all components for a full refund.

For most orders delivered by UPS, you can use the enclosed small parcel return label to mail your return. Alternately, you can arrange to return on your own, using the address specified on the return label. Credit will be issued at the time the merchandise is received in our warehouse. Return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

Here’s what you need to do:

1. Make sure the item(s) you wish to return are in unused and like-new condition with original packaging, parts, accessories and all the paperwork.

2.Please complete the form below to let us know you are returning the product. You will need to know your customer number, order number (located on your packing slip) and item number to complete the return request form. Once we have received your return request and determined that the return is authorized, an RMA # will be emailed to you.

3. Write the RMA number in two places:

On the packing slip

On the return UPS label provided to you in your shipment

4. Box the item securely. Include the packing slip with RMA number. Tape the pre-printed/pre-paid UPS return-shipping label (included with your purchase) to the outside of the box.

5. Bring the package to any UPS location near you.

Once we get your item(s) back, we will process your refund including applicable sales taxes. Once processed, please allow two weeks to see the refund on your original form of payment. Refunds are issued to the credit card originally used for your purchase. Gift items will also be credited to the original credit card.

Power Equipment Return Policy

Power Equipment MAY NOT be returned once gas or oil has been put in it, even if the liquid has been drained out the equipment.

If your Power Equipment (including lawn mowers, snow throwers, generators, leaf blowers, chain saws, pressure washers and other items that use flammable liquids) is defective or not functioning properly, the service and warranty issues will be handled through the manufacturer's Authorized Service Center. Authorized service center information can be found in the item's owner's manual. Be advised that appropriate maintenance and use of your equipment is required to ensure that manufacturer's warranty is not voided.
